How it works

First link in person. Then you can have any request checked.

   Account and passkey

   You create an account and confirm your email address. Then you add a passkey: the fingerprint, face or PIN of your own phone or computer.

   Create a family

   One person creates the family and invites others within the selected plan's limit. An invitation alone does not make someone a trusted contact.

3. 3

   Link in person

   You and your family member both see four safety words and a number. Compare them together, in person or on a call to a number you already knew. Do they match? Then you both confirm with your passkey.

   Check a request

   Received an odd request? Choose the contact, write down exactly what is being asked and send it.

5. 5

   A deliberate Yes or No

   Your contact sees the exact text, chooses Yes or No and confirms that choice with their passkey. The request expires after 5 minutes.

6. 6

   The result

   You see: Yes, confirmed; No, declined; Expired; or Untrusted. Only a server-checked Yes turns green. Still unsure? Call back yourself.
