Cookies and local storage

Torivela only uses storage that is needed for the service to work. No consent is required for that, which is why you see no cookie banner.
What we store
- Cookie ‘lang’ (1 year): remembers your language choice.
- Local storage for signing in (while you are signed in): keeps your session. This is needed to stay signed in.
- Local storage ‘torivela-consent’: only if there are ever choices to make, to remember your choice and its version.
What we do not use
No analytics cookies, no advertising or tracking cookies, no social media pixels.
If that changes
If we ever use something that requires consent, we will ask beforehand per category. Nothing will be pre-ticked, refusing will be as easy as accepting, you can always change or withdraw, and the service will work if you refuse.
