Torivela. Check a suspicious request.
Someone suddenly asks for money? With Torivela, a contact you previously linked with personally and reliably can answer that specific request outside the original chat.
Early version · no independent security review · payments not yet available. Never use this as the sole basis for a money transfer.
The message
“Hi mum, this is my new number. Can you send money?”
Your question outside the chat
“Is this request from you?”
A question to the previously linked account, not a proven transaction.
Sådan fungerer det i 3 trin
First, link personally
Compare your safety words together, in person or on a call to an old, known number. Do this before a suspicious request arrives.
Check the exact request
Choose your contact and write down what is being asked yourself. Torivela does not automatically read WhatsApp.
An answer outside the chat
The previously linked account answers Yes or No and confirms with its security key.
For family and friends
When a message mentions a new number or money, you can ask your previously linked contact separately. Invited contacts answer for free; simple mode offers larger text and buttons.
An extra check. Not a guarantee.
A Yes only confirms this request via the previously linked account and its security key; it does not prove physical identity or a safe bank account. In doubt? Call the old, known number yourself. Already sent money? Call your bank now.
